    Hi Robin,

    Please find the inline answers:

I have two versions of the PDF document:

    1. PDF Producer: Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 (Windows) with the Application: Acrobat PDFMaker 7.07 for Word

Pranav: This particular version is a very old version of Adobe Acrobat and might not have that feature which would enable additional rights for the user. You would require Adobe Acrobat (X or XI)

    1. PDF Producer & Application: Adobe Acrobat.comCombinePDFService 1.0.0

Pranav: This method also would not have that desired feature, it can only do convertion to PDF for you.

With Adobe Acrobat you can provide additional rights(like Filling the form, Saving the compleated form, signing the form) for people who are using Adobe Reader to fill and save the form.

    Regards,

    ~Pranav

    Hi Robin,

Kindly let me know how you have created the PDF form? I can see you have PDF Pack subscription with you which is used to convert Word document to PDF.

You might have used the same mathod to create your PDF form, correct me if I'm wrong.

However, now if you are trying to distribute this form to your users and your users would be using Adobe Reader to fill this form then this would not work.

For making the form compatible you need to use the complete PDF solution : Adobe Acrobat which would enable the additional rights for Adobe Reader user to fill and save the form.

To check about Acrobat please visit: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html?promoid=JOLIR

Let me know if you have any other question

    Regards,

    ~Pranav

Hello Pranav & thank you for your quick reply.

    1. PDF Producer: Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 (Windows) with the Application: Acrobat PDFMaker 7.07 for Word
    2. PDF Producer & Application: Adobe Acrobat.comCombinePDFService 1.0.0

I am trying to distribute this form for users to fill it out.  My computer will recieve the full Adobe package later this week.  In the meantime, can you please expand upon and clarify with directions on your statement: "For making the form compatible you need to use the complete PDF solution: Adobe Acrobat which would enable the additional rights for Adobe Reader user to fill and save the form."

Thank you so much for your support
