I have just downloaded the 30 day free trial of Acrobat Pro - Doesn't seem to be working on my computer? I'm just trying to convert a PDF to Word and its asking me to subscribe?!

First, you'll want to make sure that you're in Acrobat, not Adobe Reader, so look at the top of application window to make sure that you see "Acrobat" in the upper-left corner. If you do have Reader open instead of Acrobat, and try to convert a file, you'll be accessing (or attempting to access) the ExportPDF online service.

In Acrobat, you choose File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document to convert a PDF file to Word format.
