Banks seem to do this SO YOU CANNOT export, by design. You should complain to the bank.

Then that is how things are. I made two suggestions.

You really need to complain to the bank. The staff can't help you but they can pass on your complaint to the planners. The bank have stopped this from working for you. Perhaps they have a premium service to sell?

Maybe you could use copy/paste as the start, if they allow that, or retype.

The bank just says: this is the way it is!!! Info only available in excel format for 1 month.

And about the converting: they say it is the problem of the external converter -not their problem!

And we say, we can't help you either. Bank help desks don't understand this technical stuff. But it's SURE that the bank would not tell you the password even though it's your own information. They don't even know it.

Thank you for the answer.

AFTER the protected PDF statement is opened - by me with my password - Adobe tells me: this file cannot be converted because it is password protected.

I really don't understand - the file is OPEN - then it can not be converted!

How do i remove the security setting?

Assuming you don't know the password, you can't do it. Banks usually offer easier ways of getting your information, though.

There's usually an option to download the data as an Excel file or a CSV file. Extracting it from a PDF file isn't a very good option in the first place.

Discussions about how to remove document protection applied by a third party are not permitted.

I did complain to the bank. They said: "We can not help you. Ask Acrobat!!!"

You'd need Acrobat to do that, and to know what the password is, of course.

I have Acrobat prepaid converter. I opened the files with my password. But then Acrobat tells me - "Remove the protection" But when i follow the steps - there is NO ACTION button to remove the protection.
