I just signed up with adobe so I could export my pdf files into word documents, so I could make changes to them, and a lot of the stuff on the pages changed to symbols. How can I prevent this, because it defeats the purpose if I can't do anything wit

I just signed up with adobe so I could export my pdf files into word documents, but when I do this half of everything on the page becomes symbols (the handwritten stuff). How can I change this? It defeats the purpose of purchasing this if I can't do what I need to do.

Try using Export PDF online https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf.

Check if you get same result.
