Just subscribed and first attempt to convert pdf to word failed ! I get the following message "an error occurred while trying to access the service" - not good service indeed ! 27 CHF for nothing ... what can be done ?

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I just checked your account and your order is still pending. It can take up to 48 hours for an order to process fully. But, once it does, you'll be able to log in and convert files.
