I keep getting an error message saying there's a problem with converting

I have just subscribed.  I urgently need to combine a number of files but each time I select a file it downloads and then gives an error message saying there is a problem with the conversion.  I have tried from my desktop, my files, my drop box and each time I get the same message.  I am trying to combine a one page pdf into another larger pdf.

Hi diidunlop,

Were you able to get your files converted, or are you still having trouble? If you are, the answers to the following questions will help up track down the problem:

  • Are you using the ExportPDF service from within Reader, or via a web browser (what browser)?
  • Do any files convert, or are you having trouble with all files that you try to convert?
  • How large are the files you're trying to convert? Do they have lots of pages, or a mix of fonts and graphics?

All I want to do is to combine 2 .pdf files, but it wants them in their original forms...word, excel, ppt...and they are signed documents.  I cannot figure this out and am running out of time.  This was not a problem until I renewed my subscription.
