I made a crossword and want a solution bar right under it

I want those two files - the crossword puzzle and the bar - on one page, not on two. It is the first time I am trying to do something like this but it already took me three hours and it is driving me crazy.

Please help me out...

Thanks for replying. I finally found out how to use the puzzle software (Crossword Compiler) to solve this problem. I made it as one puzzle with one row blank (void) between the puzzle and the solution bar. Then I could export it as one file. Good luck with your puzzles!

It is frustrating and I have been through it too and spend hours to figur this out. Did you ever find the solution?

If not, maybe try putting both elements into a simple table or frame as it usually helps with keeping things on the same page, especially in Word or Google Docs.

I ran into a similar issue when I was formatting puzzle solutions for Letter Boxed puzzle from NYT 😊 just getting the answers and layout to display clearly on one page took some trial and error. I eventually ended up fixing it.

I have two PDF files, generated by te software for dessigning the puzzles. One of them is a nine square solution bar, the other one is a puzzle with the clues in a square. In the puzzle there ar nine squares with a number. Those letters in the squares form the solution word which you fill in at the solution bar underneath the puzzle.

When I merged both files together, I get one page with the puzzle and one page with the solution bar. I want them together on one page.
