I recently did a trial that was downloaded onto my computer and I have now paid a subscription so I can combine files on my computer but this seems to be all online and I cant open pdf sent to me via emaails and keeps telling me my trial has finishe

It looks like you have a subscription to Adobe PDF Pack, which is an online service. You access it by logging in to https://cloud.acrobat.com.

I think Aandi assumption is correct: You started the Acrobat 30-day trial, which has since expired. If you're not going to use Acrobat, uninstall it. (Right now, your computer is trying to open PDF files in Acrobat, rather than Reader). After you uninstall and  Acrobat, PDF files should open in Reader. If not, repair Reader as Aandi suggests.

I think you did a trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro. But then you purchased something entirely different (I guess, can't check).

If you don't want Acrobat Pro, uninstall it, then repair Adobe Reader. The trial doesn't uninstall itself, because you might be going to buy it.
