i want to delete the files I've converted from pdf from appearing on my landing page. How do I delete the history?

Are you referring to the files that appear under Recent Files when you're logged in to ExportPDF? The only way to remove those files is to delete them from your Acrobat.com online account. However, that window will always show the four most recently worked on file (meaning that you can delete the files that are listed, but the next four recent will then display).
