"Import form data" via button not working

In creating a form, adding a button, and making the action of the button to Import from data" in clicking "add", the application will not allow me so select any other file type than pdf, but even then i cannot select a file to use for data.

As mentioned above, the button added to import form data is not working as aspected.

Would you mind sharing the steps to add an action button to Import from data?

Please also share the PDF form.

Share Acrobat and OS version in use.
