Initial View in Browser

I can set Initial View in a PDF, but when my clients open it from Document Cloud (default for sharing) that Initial View setting is lost. They then have to navigate to the asterisk menu and choose "Open in desktop app" in order to review the work as I intend. This is a bad option. I should never have to train reviewers on how to review. DC needs to be smarter than that.

Honor Initial View settings when viewing any DC PDF in a browser.

Hi pixeltech,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please share more information on how you share the PDF? Did you check if the initial view works on your end?

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of how it works on your end.

Please let us know what happens when you try to log in to UserVoice. Ensure that you are using the correct email and password. If you get any error messages, let us know.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Side rant: This really should be posted on UserVoice, but I am no longer able to log in to that service, getting lost in a doom loop of validation and verification links that just never work. The impressions I get is that Adobe doesn't really have any interest in user feedback.
