On My MAC it worked fine for about 6 weeks,  then yesterday it would not launch.

Downloaded it again using Adobe installer completes download and then freezes

What do I do now?

    Hi there,

Let's try doing a clean reinstall. Please see Everytime I try to open Acrobat it crashes. What do I need to do to alleviate this problem?

    Hi jeanluc69,

Please tell me a bit more about your setup. What version of Mac OS are you on? And where are you downloading Acrobat from?

For starters, I'd like to suggest that you download directly from this page: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X.

Then, make sure that you're logged in as an administrator, and that any antivirus software on your system is disabled.

Please let us know how it goes. If you're still having problems, we will dig in deeper.

    Best,
    Sara

    Still no success

    Running OS X version 10.9.5.

I removed all Adobe products from my machine ( a new Macbook Pro) using uninstaller.

Reloaded Acrobat Pro XI from the address you suggest above.

Installed Acrobat Pro XI,  tried to launch,  came up with error message:

"Acrobat Quit Unexpectedly last time,  do you want to reopen"   whatever option I choose it comes back with another message asking me if I want to report the problem to Apple......

Tried three times including rebooting after uninstall to reinstall from web.  No success.
