install reader

Attempting to install Acrobat Reader XI on a desktop recently upgraded to Windows 7.  When the download manager runs it deletes itself, then displays a blank, black progress window.  Clicking the button brings up a browser window with the message:

Browser can't find the server at www.{completionpageurl}.com.

This occurs with both Firefox and Internet Explorer 11.
