Inter links not working, any way around?

Working on Nook using Safari, uploaded PDF to acrobat.com and inter links don't work.  I've read in a forum about changing to PDF/a? however I can't locate where this would be in this situation.

This is a work project, many files such as this all with inter links that serve as task completion check ins.  Really would like this setup to work.

    I've found that down loading the PDF file to the Nook and using Acrobat  reader allows the links to work, however this is way cumbersome, any way to work on files directly on Acorbat.com?
