You have an excel sheet within word or is it external excel attachment?

The excel spreadsheet is within the word document. When I open the folder the files containing this type of document are not listed.

What do you suggest?

If it's a simple excel table inside a word document then yes you can convert it into pdf using the Create PDF service.
