Is there an option to select a language?

Is there an option to select a language? When I converted a file from German PDF to Word it didn't recognize all the characters (Umlauts, etc.). Thanks!

    Hi hollyc,

    Yes, there is! If you're converting via Acrobat Reader, you should see a blue "Change" link under "Document Language" in the right pane. If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, you can change the language via the Document Language pop-up menu that appears after you choose a file to convert.
