Issue Converting PDF to Powerpoint

Question

I was working with a powerpoint that had an table as an image so I converted it to a PDF, scanned it and tagged the table accordingly but when I went to export it back as a PDF, the table is now part of the background. I cannot highlight the words or anything.

As you have mentioned above, the image appears as background.

Would you mind sharing the step-by-step workflow you did?

What do you mean by "I converted to PDF and scanned it?

Please share the initial file and the latest PDF with us if possible. That will help us to replicate the behavior.
