Issue with updating Adobe

Hi, I received an update for my adobe x pro and I just clicked ok. since then my tools features are not working and I can't use the "tools" feature when I open a PDF file. I have to save it in order to use the "tool" features. It's is very time consuming.

    Hi Nikoo,

    Did you just install the 10.10.13 update that was released today? Is the Tools menu grayed out until you click Save? Or is it missing? Are you on Mac OS or Windows?

    Thank you for your response. I have window & I updated about 2 months ago but my Adobe is useless. If I create PDF from words the tool box works but if I down load a PDF file I can't use the tool box until I save the file then attach that to another file that I converted to PDF then I can use tool box. I hope I didn't confused you !! The tool box is gray as you said.

    Hi Nikoo,

    I'm sorry to say that I am a bit confused! If I follow correctly, the problem occurs only for PDF files that you're downloading (from Acrobat.com, or email, or the web?). When you open those PDF files, are they opening in a web browser, or directly in Acrobat? How are you attaching the PDFs? It sounds to me that there may be a web browser or Reader in play, which is why you're not seeing the tools you're expecting to see in Acrobat.
