Issues w/ Send & Track

Hello Adobe Community!

I'm currently having some issues with the Send & Track plugin for Outlook, it broke after our last subscription renewal. This is currently impacting our end user's workflow. We currently have have an All Apps subscription and this functionality should be included according to the Adobe FAQ:

 

Upon first opening Outlook and attempting to use Send & Track the first error will always report the file type is incompatible despite the file used:

Upon the next attempt the error changes to:

This persists until Outlook is restarted and the cycle repeats.

I've checked our admin portal through Adobe and have no Sharing Restrictions in place:


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please let us know how the application was installed on the machine. Did others in the team also experience this issue? 

Did you try reinstalling the application to check if it changes anything? If not, try reinstalling using the steps suggested here: 

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.

Also, you may try to reinstall the plugin manually from the following page: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/adobe-send-track-outlook-plug-in.html

  • Hello MeenakshiNegi,

    This is an issue with Adobe Send & Track Plug-in for Outlook. The plugin is currently packaged with Adobe Acrobat (2017). Currently all users at our org are facing this issue, Send & Track has appeared to given up overnight. Here are some things I've done:

  • Reinstalled Adobe Acrobat
  • Performed Outlook Repair
  • Double Checked Outlook Configuration
  • Double Check Adobe Admin Configuration
  • Installed Adobe All Apps with .dll Plugin Manual Install

 

Unfortunately to no avail, the plugin you've linked also only works with older versions of Outlook and is no longer supported. Adobe Send & Track is a key part of our employee's workflow and helps us to easily collaborate with others on projects. Any help to get it fix urgently would be greatly accepted.
