    Hi Chiogirl,

I can understand the frustration. While it's not an Adobe/Acrobat problem, I think I can point you in the right direction. You'll want to choose a different application as the default for opening JPEG images. If you're on Windows, see Change which programs Windows uses by default - Windows Help. If you're on Mac OS, see How to change the default application for a file type | Macworld.

If you're continuing to have problems, you'll want to contact the manufacturer of your operating system.

    Best,

    Hi Chiogirl,

Your question landed in the Acrobat Document Cloud forum, do you have a question about one of the Acrobat online serves, or PDF?

Or, are you trying to open a JPEG attachment in an email, and it's opening in Word?

    Best,

    Sara
