Large pdf file - to search/convert

I have a large pdf document (593MB) that I need to convert to Word format so I can search it. Is there a way to automatically break it up so it can be converted? Alternatively/preferably, it is not currently searchable. How can I make it so?

Hi Chris O'Meara,

If it is a scanned document, then you would need to run OCR on the file using Adobe Acrobat software.

If you have Acrobat, then you can reduce the file size by choosing "File > Save as Other > Reduced Size PDF" and then export the file to word format.

There is no such way to automatically break the file. You can either reduce the file size or split the file into two using 'Organize Pages' tool.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
