Membership and usuage of conversion benefits

I keep trying to convert pdf files into word documents.  I finally decided that I must not have signed up for this service; however, I found evidence that I had signed and still throughout the past year have not been able to convert a file.  It is almost time for me to renew something that I have not even been able to use for a whole year.  I guess I need some instructions on how I am to make this conversion happen.  Then I am questioning the charge for another year when I haven't even used the first year.  I have accidently fallen onto the website for support.  I did not find support offered when trying to convert a file; only a signup and that was all.  Can you please advise me how I can actually activate my previous membership so that I might be able to use it for the remainder of it's lifetime.  I am not sure that I would want to renew for antoher year since I haven't even used the first year's worth.

    Hi whodunit%40indy.rr.com,

I'm sorry that you've had trouble accessing your service. I've checked your account using the same email address that you use to post in the forums, and it looks like there was an attempt to order a subscription today, but there was a payment processing issue.

I don't see any other subscriptions tied to that email address. Is it possible that you signed up using a different email address/Adobe ID? Or, did you sign up via the Reader mobile app? If so, Adobe wouldn't have record of that subscription, as it would be handled by the app store from which you purchased the subscription.

So, please make sure that you're signing in using the same email address/Adobe ID that you used when you purchased the subscription. Please see Adobe ID, sign in, and account help for help locating that information.

If you're still having trouble accessing your subscription, please let us know (but please don't include your email address if you respond to this post, as the forums are public, and we don't want you sharing that private information publicly).

    Best,

    Sara

Thank you Sara for getting back to me. Just found your response. I only have one email that I use so there is no mistake to which one it would be affiliated with.

I am hoping they do not automatically take payment out for the next year as I am not ready for that next move.

    Thank You.

    Hi Pat,

Currently, there are no subscriptions tied to your email address; so the purchase attempt that I saw on March 2 did not go through. You should not be seeing any charges from Adobe, but if you do, please Contact Customer Care.

    Best,

    Sara
