my document from email cant open

cannot open my document sent to adobe reader . shows there are no new files . this document was sent to my email address and it said only way to open document or view document is through this reader and its not doing squat. what is there to do

    What is your operating system?  Email client?  Reader version?

    How exactly are you trying to open that email attachment (assuming that it is indeed an email attachment) ?

    windows 7 enterprise 32 bit, its the adobe reader xl, my email is baker

    college email. the reader isnt showing it at all. and the email i recieved

    with that document doesnt even have a thing to click on to open the

    attachment, the document was electronically sent

    By 'email client' I mean: is it a dedicated email program like Windows Live Mail or Outlook?  Or do you use a web-based email system?  If so, in what browser?
