New acrobat Pro freezing when "save as other > reader extended PDF>

Good morning, 

 

Our workplace has used Adobe for forms for years, and currently facing an issue where we are creating fillable forms from InDesign, saving as PDF, creating form fields, and then save as > reader extended PDF > enable more tools (so customers can fill out ans save) but since the recent upgrade when we try and save this way it freezes and the program doesn't respond. A few of us have tried and all teh same issue. Any help woudl be appreciated.

Try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4ewFAsy.

If the above suggestion does not work, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/4dyhFYn).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4dyLEzy. 

 

If that does not help, we will require logs for further investigation. Please share the logs using the steps suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3Y9AKLY. Also, please share the machine's Acrobat and OS version numbers.
