    Hi sophtex,

OCR is enabled by default, and can't be disabled if you convert via the ExportPDF website. All you need to do there is make sure that the correct language is selected for text recognition. If you convert via Adobe Reader, you can disable OCR, but that is not recommended for your scanned documents (you won't be able to edit the text).

As far as editing the text in Word, sometimes it's just a matter of triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit. Does that work for you?
