Hello, and thanks for your help.

Is it possible, and how, to require a password for the recipient to view the file I send with Adobe SendNow.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks,

H h20-snow,

What Anubha says is correct: You need to use Acrobat to apply a password to a PDF file. If you don't have Acrobat, you're welcome to give it a try. You can download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

Hi h2o-snow,

Firstly, I would like to inform you that Adobe Send has replaced Adobe SendNow with an easier way of sending files.

Using Acrobat, you can set password by going to "Tools> Protection> Encrypt" and choosing 'Encrypt with Password' option from the pop down.

Once you send this file, the recipient would need to enter password in order to open it.

Hope this information helps.

Regards,

Anubha
