PDF files will not combine - Conversion fail error

After years of using this program - Adobe PDF services suddenly will not combine PDF files.  After clicking on "Combine" - it very quickly give the message - "Conversion Failure"  The file has not been processed.  An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF."

Hi Juditho,

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are getting conversion failure error while combining PDF file, Is that correct?

If the issue still persists, please share the following details:

  • Is the conversion failure error is with one PDF or with all the PDFs?
  • Are you combining the PDFs through the free desktop version of Adobe Reader OR through Adobe Document Cloud at https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf ?
  • If the Reader is installed, check the dot version of Reader from Help>About Adobe Reader.
