pdf to excel, decimal - thousand separator problem

Numbers in the original pdf file got comma ( , ) as decimal point and point ( . ) as thousand separator. Converting it into excel file the ( , ) is not recognised and the ( . ) is been used as decimal point. As example 11,76 is converted 1.176. Is there any solution?
