Question

PDF to Excel is not finishing the entire file. Stops after 15 pages. Any advice?

I have a 19page PDF in table format. The paid PDF to excel export is working quite well on the first 15 pages, but then it just stops and will not do more pages.

Is there a way to make it complete all available pages, or do I need to split the PDF up into 15page segments and then export to Excel?

Thank you in advance!

(PC, windows 10)

The first 15 pages did not export to excel correctly. Several pages of the PDF were skipped during conversion. Why might the exporter be skipping pages?

Hi Northernack,

Sorry for the delay in response.

It seems to be an issue with a specific multi-page PDF? Or does it cause problem for all the conversion?

Is there any specific error that you get while converting file or it just not giving the appropriate result? And how exactly this pdf was created originally, what is the source of the PDF?

  • Adobe Export PDF can create high-quality conversions, but the quality of converted document depends on the quality of the PDF file you start with.
  • Is this document is a scanned file or contain real text? Likewise, poor quality scans, such as those where the scanned page is skewed, or there are smudges or marks on the page, are very difficult for Export PDF to convert.

Also, Export pdf service doesn't let you to split the pages into separate files. This feature comes with Acrobat DC subscription.
