I am trying to convert a pdf floor plan to an image so that I can use it in another program, but no matter what format or quality I use, the resulting image is much lower resolution and not usable.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on your version of Publisher, you might be able to turn EPS support back on. Support for EPS images has been turned off in Office - Microsoft Office . Or recent versions can place PDF: Add a PDF file or image to a Publisher publication - Publisher No image format is going to cut it, without going up to a resolution so ludicrously high you won't be able to work (but if you must try this, use Photoshop not Acrobat).

Floor plans can be huge and not viable as any kind of image. It's probably vector in PDF, and scalable to any size. What is the app you want to work in, and does it accept EPS format?

Currently working in Publisher.  It does not accept EPS format.
