PDF-Word okay but cant transfer new Word page into existing document

Hi, I am trying to add an exported PDF (Word) document into an existing word document but it's not copying properly, the view in the converted word file is perfect but when I try to paste it into another word document it doesn't transfer to a readable page (either distorted/ one letter per line etc) format is all wrong.  Can you help please?
