Publisher file conversion failure

When I upload a publisher file to convert to PDF I get the message "conversion failure" Any suggestions?

    Let's see what we can figure out. Can you tell me a bit more about your setup, and what's happening?

    • What browser are you using? What happens when you clear the browser cache?
    • Are you able to convert other files to PDF?
    • How large is the file that you're trying to convert?
    • Are you using a networked computer that may have firewall/proxy settings that prevent you from uploading files to the Internet?

    Hi Sara,

    I’ll try and answer your questions:

    * What browser are you using? Google Chrome What happens when you clear the browser cache? I have not done that, please explain? I have not tried using Internet Explorer which I did change from a few years ago.

    * Are you able to convert other files to PDF? Yes in the past using Create a PDF and there are a couple dozen in my account at Acrobat.com Files. The last several years the program I purchase annually seems to keep having this conversion problem. I can save the file to PDF using my Publisher program but sometimes the PDF’s are still pretty large so that’s why I wanted to use this program hoping they would be smaller.

    * How large is the file that you're trying to convert? A publisher file I’m trying to convert now is 29 MB. I was able to save it to PDF using Publisher which created a 3 MB PDF.

    * Are you using a networked computer that may have firewall/proxy settings that prevent you from uploading files to the Internet? I am using a desk top computer in my home office. It has Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security software.
