    Hi jensaffection,

In addition to what Rahul suggests, you can password-protect a file using Adobe Acrobat (choose File > Properties, and click the Security tab). If you don't have Acrobat, please feel free to download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

    Hi Jen,

You can send a password protected file as you would send a normal file without password.

You can also use adobe send service to send files. Send Large Files Easily - Select, Send, & Confirm & Track| Adobe Send

    Regards,

    Rahul
