Question about Acrobat and Outlook 2010

Hi Guys,

I am a CC user and all updated etc. Windows machine ver7. I used to be able to backup my Outlook Inbox into a PDF folder.

It saved all the attachments also.......now recently it will not work. It gets to like 85% and Outlook just dies.

I am not sure if it is Acrobat update doing it or what. Any ideas?

Hi guys, I bought a support agreement with Microsoft and had them scan, probe and go over my Windows 7 machine to see why Acrobat will not longer convert my entire Inbox into a PDF. It used to so I figured what the heck. They told me it is an Adobe problem because of file size......

But, I would suggest to contact Adobe support and check what is the maximum file size for conversion.

So is this an Adobe Issue? Do I need to spend more money and find a better way? My inbox is 1.2 GB including attachments etc.

It used to work really well, I do get Win Dates and also my Creative Cloud membership updates.

Just blows my mind that these 2 giants can not work together

    Hi fluidgridguy,

Is there an error message, or does Outlook crash or freeze? How are your system resources? Is the Temp folder full? Has anything else changed on your system?

    Best,

    Sara

    Hello Sara and Thanks.

Outlook just stops working and I get the Outlook not responding window and it closes and reopens.

System Resources are all good  I have 16 Gig of Ram.

No other changes to system, When you say Temp folder do you mean Windows Temp Folder or Acrobat cache files?

I was referring to the Windows Temp folder, but it may also be that a repair of Outlook is in order.

    Best,
