As per the description above, you are getting an error message RdrCEF.exe has stopped working, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from Help>Check for updates, reboot the machine after the installation of updates.

You can also repair the installation files of Adobe Reader from Help>Repair installation(only for Windows). Reboot the machine again and see if this brings any difference.

You can also refer to RdrCEF.exe Application error when opening Reader

If the issue still persists, please share the following details:

• Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
• Is free desktop version of Adobe Reader DC installed or Acrobat, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
• Dot version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
