recovering lost edits

I changed file name in the Finder without closing the file. Is there any hope of recovering all lost edits?

    Hi margarets40132151,

    Are you referring to a PDF file? I'm not sure that you'll be able to recover those edits. But, please check out this document, and see if it helps: Adobe Acrobat X Pro * Saving PDFs (while written for Acrobat X, it applies to Acrobat XI as well).
