Reimbursement for taxes from Online Store?

I ordered Adobe PDF Pack from the online store and didn't realize I couldn't make it tax-exempt until too late.  I am from a tax-exempt university.  Is there some way to get reimbursed for the taxes.  I've spent most of the afternoon trying to chat, email or ask this forum for help. [I keep getting error].   Adobe customer service is really bad.

    Our customer support personnel have tried to call you and email you but have not been able to reach you with either method. At this point, they are closing the case.
