Removing colour box from PDF when you click on object

Hi

 

Can anyone help me? I have a PPT that has been exported as a PDF. When you click on an object/link it flashes up a colour around it to show its been clicked. Does anyone know how to remove this?

 

Its like a mouse down state.

 

Basically I do not want anything to flash when you click on it.

Hi peteh50163236,

If you have access to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you may try opening the file in it. Click on Prepare form, right click on button where it is showing the color, choose propertise>Actions, check if there is some action associated with the button/object. 

If you can share the file we may try to check this out.

Thanks for this. I thought it must have an option to do this. All sorted thanks although I wish there was a button to turn the higlights off all links. doing it manually takes forever.
