Retrieving current session status.... its been like this for days now and it really slows down the responsiveness of the software.

When I open Adode Acrobat, a grey box on the right says Retrieving current session status.... its been like this for days now and it really slows down the responsiveness of the software. how can I resolve this? I paid for Export service in Jan 2014.

    Yes I have done. Now this status seems to occur even when I’m just plain trying to read a document


    If it's still happening, I would recommend uninstalling, and reinstalling Reader. You shouldn't be getting that message if you're logged out.

    Is the the ExportPDF online service where you're seeing this message (not Adobe Acrobat)? If so, please clear the browser cache and try again. If that doesn't work, please try logging on to ExportPDF from a different web browser.  This page lists which browsers ExportPDF supports: System requirements | Acrobat.com

    I see the message in the application itself on the right hand side..see the graphic. This has the effect of freezing the operating of the software for some moments, causing a lag in usablility...

    Are you using ExportPDF in Adobe Reader?
