Search and Replace with "_______"

I'm a Notary and would like to use Adobe Acrobat to complete some of the fill-ins I need to do on a loan package.  The first thing I tried to do is change the following:

.....before me _____________ by John Doe who provided identification...

The "______" here would be my name so it would read:

....before me Ron Notary by John Doe who provided identification...

The Search/Replace will not grab the ______, however, the Advanced Search will grab it if I search on "before me _".  But I don't see anyway to perform the Replace functionality?  Any help?
