Size of PDF's

I would like to know if there is a way to find out the actual size of a pdf.  I save them and set up the page as an A5, but when commercial printer receives it is shows 189x267.  Also when you select Command I on a mac it talks about resolution size of 473 x 649 (Not sure what this is or could this be the size in pixels?)

PDF files don't have a size in pixels, but that doesn't stop some applications, and the Finder, giving you some rubbish rather than saying there is no information!! Tip: to see the size in Acrobat hover mouse in bottom left of the window. Bear in mind too that if you use bleed, that the size reported is the exterior of the bleed.

PDF pages do not have a "resolution" setting, by the way.

Open the document in Acrobat Reader. At the left bottom it displays the page size.
