speed launcher missing entry notification

am getting an error (run dll missing entry speed launcher) the internet links this to adobe and offers fixes but it all looks dodgy to me. Is it adobe and which bloomin forum do i go to?

Hi mandie43190887,

What Adobe application are you receiving this error in? If you're referring to Adobe Reader, I have seen some reports of malware camouflaging itself as Reader_sl.exe.

But, please let us know where you're seeing this error, and provide the error message in full, and we can take it from there.

Thanks for replying. This is n error message at start up, not in any particular application. I don’t know if this is at all linked to Adobe, but when I looked up the error on the net Adobe was mentioned, along with several handy ‘Fixes’ I could download. I didn’t, and I just thought I would check if it was actually Adobe before I do anything else to get rid of it.

The Message box is headed Run DLL and lists an error in C/ Windows/ system32 etc followed by Missing entry: Speed Launcher

it comes up after I have logged in and I click ok and it goes away.

Again, Thanks, especially as it may be nothing to do with Adobe software.
