How can I turn off on my computer Adobe's file sharing feature?

I am an individual not a business, and do not need to share my files (especially my bank statements), which I copy from my on-line banking account. These statements get automatically stored on Chrome in a download folder in Google Drive.

I didn't choose to participate in file sharing and didn't set it up, it just began happening automatically with Adobe on my computer. Does this mean I can no longer download pdf's to get a paper copy without the document being stored?

Please advise what if anything can be done.
