Text in entire pdf file appears selected; same holds true if I save the pdf in Word (.docx format)

Hi,

I just installed Acrobat Pro DC today. Then I published a file in pdf format using the SDL tool. Once the pdf was downloaded, I opened it but all the text within the pdf shows as if selected/gray highlighted. I also tried saving the file in Word format and the same problem occurs with the Word file as well. Please advise the corrective action. Thanks!
