Trying to convert a pdf file to excel and the answer is conversion failure

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I believe you are trying the conversion through the desktop application?

You may try the conversion through Document Cloud web interface Adobe Document Cloud  and if that gives the same result, then you may try the following troubleshooting steps-

• Check with a different pdf and see if you are getting the error for the all the conversion or specific document.
• Check the application update. Open Adobe Reader>Help>Check for update
• For desktop application, use cleaner tool to remove the app Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and reinstall it Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
• There might be an interruption because of antivirus software installed on your computer. Please turn it off for a while and see the difference.
