Unable to convert a PDF to Excel - getting a conversion failure message

I am trying to convert a PDF file to Excel, but I get a message that says a conversion failure and it will not convert. How to I correct this error to get my file to convert?

Hello,

I have tried to convert my PDF file to Excel on the desktop version and the online link you provided and neither will convert the file.

Could you confirm, how exactly you are trying the conversion? Is it online or through the desktop application? To access the service you may follow the steps suggested below-

1- Export PDF is an online service that you can use online via: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf you can also check with a different web browser.

2- You can also use the services through free desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

3- “Sign In” using the email (Adobe ID) under which you have subscription registered.

4- For detailed description of how to use the Export PDF service, you may refer to- Using Adobe Export PDF

You may refer to the following link for any troubleshooting: Troubleshooting Create PDF, Export PDF, Adobe Send, Fill & Sign … services(PDFPack or Document Cloud Services).

If you still continue to receive the "Conversion Failure" error message, then you may refer to similar discussion here Re: Conversion Failure and follow the trouble shooting steps suggested.

Let us know if it still doesn't work.

Hello,

I have tried all of the steps you gave me in the email and the file is still failing as a conversion failure.

It is a large file. Would that be the reason why it won't convert?
