Unable to log in to ExportPDF from Reader

I am using Adobe Reader XI. I purchased the silence to convert to Word docx format. When I try to upload it tells me that An error occurred while trying to access the server. I use a Lenovo G500 laptop computer. Have I wasted my money????

    Hi abrahamb,

    Please try logging in directly to the web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf (rather than using Adobe Reader). Are you able to log in and convert files from there?
