    Hi Chris,

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with Reader. Adobe Reader is free, so I'm guessing that what you purchased was a subscription to one of the Acrobat online services (PDF Pack, ExportPDF, and so on).  But that shouldn't have any bearing on the issue that you report.

Are you able to open any PDF files in Reader? Do you receive an error message when you try to open the one you reference in your post?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I try to open it up, but every time my computer asks me to ‘subscribe’ to

Adobe 'pro', which of course, I am not going to. Then I have to ‘upload’

the document onto my computer then I have to go into download (green arrow

thing) then, I have to open the thing up via a little icon on the download,

which then opens up another dialogue box, and finally I press ‘ctl p’ to

print off the document! Such a lot of messing for something which should be

quick and easy!! So what do I do?

I am just grateful that nowadays I don’t get very many pdf documents!!

    would be sat here forever!

    Regards

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

You're right, it shouldn't be that complicated! I'm so sorry it's been such trouble for you. I'm gathering that are receiving a PDF via email, saving the attachment, and then trying to open it. Is that correct? Do you have Adobe Reader on your system? If not, please download the free Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/reader.html. Once you have that installed, you should be able to choose what application that you want to use  (Adobe Reader) to open the PDF attachment when you try download it from your email client. Once it's in Reader, you can print it.

    I hope that helps.

    Best,
