up-/downloading multiple files

Is it possible to up- and download multiple files at once?? If not, can this function be included as it would make things a lot easier??

It is possible to upload multiple files at once with supported browsers, for example Chrome, FireFox IE10

It is not currently possible to download multiple files at once.
