Using Chrome Ext-any Adobe purchase required?

I have installed and reinstalled the Chrome extension a few times.  When right clicking on any webpage and choosing the Adobe Acrobat icon, I get two options--Convert or Add.  When clicking "convert" nothing happens.  Do I need to purchase some other product for this to work?  Did it convert and save somewhere?  Where would the document go?

    Yes, you need to purchase or subscribe to Adobe Acrobat. This is different from the free product called Adobe Acrobat Reader.
